Why we exist and how we work
Our mission
The Wine and Spirits Collective exists because buying wine, champagne or spirits is unnecessarily opaque. Labels are dense with technical terms, prices vary widely between merchants for the same bottle, and most online content is either too basic or too close to the industry it describes. We set out to fix that: clear, independent guides written from the buyer's perspective, in six languages, for any level of knowledge.
How we work
Every guide starts with a question a real buyer would ask. We research the answer from primary sources — producer documentation, regulatory bodies, official classification registers — and write it up without jargon. Each article is reviewed before publication and updated when regulations or market conditions change. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage.
Independent by design
TWNSC does not publish sponsored rankings or paid placements disguised as editorial content. When the price comparison platform launches, merchants will be listed on objective criteria — price, stock, delivery — not on how much they pay us. Our guides are written with the same principle: the only interest we serve is the reader's.
